Are you looking forward to the World Cup next year, and how do you think England will fair?
Yes of course, almost everyone in the family wants to go; we must still put together a sound plan though.
With Capello in charge, I believe, we will do better than in previous World Cups. We will be harder to beat and should not choke. Semi Finals at least and probably final.
Lots has been said about the country as a host, would you encourage people to go to South Africa in 2010 and why?
Yes I already encourage people to go to SA in 2010. The nation will be behind the tournament, and the buzz around the country should be tremendous. I am not up to date regarding transport and feel this could be a problem unless dramatically improved. There is so much for people to see wherever they base themselves, great beaches, game parks, beauty - Drakensberg-Garden Route etc. Regarding security nothing happened to us between 1980 and 2000 so I guess people need to be wise and stick to 'main routes'.
Do you see SA players making it big in the Premier League?
Steven Pienaar is brilliant. We have watched him at live at Sunderland a couple of times and he tore us apart. Bennie McCarthy has also been very effective in Premier league over the years. Sadly his best is behind him now.
Aaron Mokoena is a beast and has been an excellent, solid defender. His recent move to Portsmouth should prove a new challenge which will help Bafana Bafana 2010 if selected.
Kagiso Dikgacoi’s presence at Fulham will help him with experience and as a holding midfielder he should prove good for SA when they come up against better teams…
